Lady Lakers win close one over Hazard in Somerset tournament

The Lady Laker Basketball team won a close one over the Hazard Lady Bulldogs in the Somerset Holiday Classic.

Aniyah Coffey had a big game, leading Russell County with 27 points on the day. Carigann Carpenter scored 7 points and McKenna Ccamaque scored 5.

Coffey was named to the All-Tournament team for Russell County.

The Lady Lakers return to action Friday night as part of that district doubleheader at Monroe County.
