David Rexroat to be grand marshal for upcoming Christmas Parade

The annual Russell Springs Christmas Parade is coming up.

The parade will take place on Saturday, November 29 on Main Street in Russell Springs. Russell Springs Mayor Eddie Thomas said Russell County High School Baseball Coach David Rexroat will be the grand marshal for this year’s parade as this year marks 70 years of Laker Baseball.

Several other special guests are expected at the parade as well.

Any person, group or business interested in entering the parade is asked to do so as soon as possible.

The parade is patriotic-themed this year, as part of Russell County’s Bicentennial celebration.
