Yesterday on local news, we reported on the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s plan to construct multiple roundabouts on a stretch of Highway 127 from the Maple Street intersection near Arby’s to the Jamestown Bypass.
Jeff Dick, project manager for the District 8 Transportation Office, was a guest on Community Conversation yesterday to discuss the project further.
Dick said the first roundabouts constructed would likely be the northern section due to traffic congestion in the area.
Dick said for this portion of the project, the roundabouts would likely be built in a group in order to maximize efficiency and avoid traffic congestion.
