Transfer station to cease Saturday operations

The Russell County Transfer Station will soon be closed on Saturdays.

County officials announced yesterday that after October 18, the transfer station will no longer operate on Saturdays.

Regular hours will be Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The transfer station is located at 323 Landfill Road in Russell Springs.
