Sheriff’s Office makes pair of drug arrests last night

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office made a pair of drug arrests last night.

38-year-old Brandon W. Morgan of Russell Springs was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine – second offense, failure to maintain insurance, operating on a suspended or revoked license, and multiple outstanding warrants.

He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 9:15 p.m.

Also arrested was 54-year-old Lee E. Chumbley of Columbia. Chumbley was charged with possession of methamphetamine – second offense.

Chumbley was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at around 11:15 last night.

Deputy Stone Bolin made both arrests.
