RCHS Soccer teams wrap up regular season with wins

The Russell County High School Soccer teams wrapped up their regular season with wins last night.

The Lady Lakers defeated Wayne County at home last night by a score of 4-1.

Addison Coffey scored a pair of goals for Russell County, and Adriana Thomas and Jayde Lawless each scored a goal as well.

Thomas and Roselyn Fuentes each finished with an assist. The Lady Lakers combined for 8 saves, 6 by Jasmine Bennett and 2 by Liz Evans.

The Lady Laker JV fell 2-0. Andrea Hernandez had 5 saves.

The Laker Soccer team defeated Somerset by a score of 1-0. Luis Lopez scored the lone goal on an assist from Carlos Lopez.

Both teams play in their respective 16th District championship games tomorrow at Finley Field. The Lady Lakers play at 1:00 and the Lakers play at 3:00.

Betty discusses the strong turnout, what tests are included in the $20 screening, the importance of early detection for conditions such as infections, anemia, and prostate cancer, and how participants can quickly access their results. She also explains the convenience of the screening process and thanks the Russell County School System and hospital staff for helping make the event a success.
