A special groundbreaking ceremony for The Green at RCPL and the Bank of Jamestown Pavilion is scheduled for Monday, October 13.
The groundbreaking will take place at 1:30 on October 13.
The Green at RCPL is a 5-acre expansion on the library property. Plans include a 5,000 square foot pavilion for library and community events, an inclusive sensory play space for children, an amphitheater, and walking path.
The project is funded by a $3 million line item in the 2024 state budget. Additional support also comes from partnerships with Bank of Jamestown and Woodland Farms Foundation.
