The Russell County Board of Education heard multiple updates regarding the ongoing bus garage and field house projects.
Representatives from Branscum Construction and the project’s architect firm, Sherman-Carter-Barnhart, were on hand to provide updates on the projects.
With the dry weather over recent weeks, construction crews have made notable progress on the buildings.
Superintendent Michael Ford said he asked those involved to look at possible changes that could be made to reduce spending while also adding important pieces to the projects.
The board unanimously approved the new additions and changes to the projects.
