New sheriff sworn in in Adair County

There’s a new sheriff in neighboring Adair County.

According to reports from the Adair County Community Voice, sheriff Jamie Richard announced his retirement yesterday, and Deputy Gary Roy was sworn in as the new interim sheriff.

Roy officially takes over as Adair County Sheriff today.
