A Columbia man was flown out following a motorcycle accident just before noon today.
Jamestown Police say 30-year-old Jordan Wheat of Columbia was operating a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle near the intersection of Highway 127 and Fruit of the Loom Drive when he struck the rear of a car operated by 72-year-old Reva Brown of Russell Springs.
Wheat was transported by Russell County EMS and eventually flown out from the EMS Helipad for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing by Jamestown Police Officer Heath Tarter. He was assisted on scene by members of the Russell County Sheriff’s Office and Jamestown Fire Department.
