RCHS Educators Rising Club has strong showing at nationals

The Russell County High School Educators Rising Club recently had a strong showing in national competition.

Ten students from the club competed at the national competition in Orlando, Florida last week.

Russell County’s Diego Gomez and Silvia Martinez placed in the top 10 in their respective competitions.

Martinez finished top 10 in Pre-K Children’s Literature and Gomez finished top 10 in Lesson Planning and Delivery.

Other students from Russell County competing in national competition were: Arielle Burton, Avery Larison, Kaylyn Boeckmann, Emmy Pratt, Shelby Curtis, Emma Wilson, Anna Gosser, and Christian McQueary.

The Educators Rising Club at Russell County High School is made of high school students planning on a future career in education.
