Monticello woman arrested on drug charges

A Monticello woman was arrested on drug charges by the Russell County Sheriff’s Office early this morning.

28-year-old Tessie Stringer was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Stringer was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. She was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 12:15 this morning.
