Jamestown man arrested on multiple charges

A Jamestown man was arrested on multiple charges last night.

62-year-old Dennis M. McWhorter was arrested and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. McWhorter also had an indictment warrant for possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

McWhorter was arrested by Deputy Stone Bolin with the Russell County Sheriff’s Office. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center just before 10 last night,
