A full slate of events will take place in downtown Jamestown for the annual Lakefest celebration today.
Things get started at 7 a.m. with Breakfast in the Park and opening ceremonies. The Mike Hill 5K and 10K run gets underway at 7:30.
The antique car and tractor show starts at 8 and runs through 1 p.m.
There will be a pet show at 9 a.m. along with children’s games and the patriotic parade at 10.
A talent show takes place at 11 with Karaoke in the Park getting underway at 1 this afternoon.
More entertainment gets underway at 3:30 with the Mike Valentine Show.
Marty Brown takes the stage at 5 p.m.
Boys in the Band, the Alabama Tribute, will take the stage at 6:30.
The wreath ceremony is scheduled for 8 p.m. followed by Second Helping – the American Lynyrd Skynyrd Show.
Fireworks will cap off the night at around 10 p.m.
