The Columbia Police Department is investigating a reported assault at the Adair County Regional Jail.
Columbia Police responded to a report of an assault at the jail at around 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers charged 36-year-old Christopher Guinn with assault – 2nd degree.
Sergeant Trevor Foster led the investigation for Columbia Police.
