An Adair County man was indicted on two counts of murder in connection with an accident that claimed the lives of two children in April.
32-year-old David C. King is charged with murder in the deaths of 14-year-old Skyler Huckaby and 12-year-old David C. King, Jr.
Kentucky State Police say King was operating a vehicle while under the influence when he was involved in a single-vehicle collision on Sano Mount Olive Road. Huckaby and King, Jr. were passengers in the vehicle. Huckaby was pronounced dead at the scene and King Jr. passed away several days later at the University of Kentucky Hospital.
King was indicted on other charges by the grand jury. The other charges include driving under the influence third offense, wanton endangerment first degree, and reckless driving.
Other indictments by the grand jury were:
Jacqueline Sandusky, age 37; Rebecca Thrower, age 35; Brandon Burton, age 34; and Kassie Burton, age 36, all of Columbia were indicted. Sandusky was indicted on charges of theft by failure to make required disposition of property $1,000 or more, criminal mischief first degree, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and persistent felony offender 2nd degree. Brandon and Kassie Burton were charged with receiving stolen property $1,000 or more, criminal mischief first degree, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Rebecca Thrower was charged with receiving stolen property $1,000 or more, criminal mischief first degree, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and persistent felony offender first degree.
David B. Johnson, age 38 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance not in the proper container, tampering with physical evidence, resisting arrest, fleeing or evading police third degree, illegal possession of a legend drug, endangering the welfare of a minor, terroristic threatening third degree and persistent felony offender.
Matthew B. Hayes, age 40 of Russell Springs, charged with burglary third degree and receiving stolen property $1,000 or more.
Misti Hill, age 43 of Russell Springs, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Joslyn Davis, age 27 of Russell Springs, charged with two counts of wanton endangerment first degree.
Jerome Summit Jr., age 51, of Jamestown, charged with possession of methamphetamine.
Ernest Foley, age 57 of Jamestown, charged with theft of property lost, mislaid, or delivered by mistake; and tampering with physical evidence.
Timothy G. Russell, age 40 of Bowling Green, charged with criminal mischief first degree, harassment, and persistent felony offender first degree.
Kristie M. Weston, age 38 of Russell Springs, charged with bail jumping first degree and persistent felony offender first degree.
Krystle Lasley, age 37 of Campbellsville, charged with bail jumping first degree.
Samantha Hatfield, age 41 of Jamestown, charged with bail jumping first degree.
Jennifer Stacy, age 49 of Russell Springs, charged with bail jumping first degree.
Jonathan Dattilo, age 29 of Tennessee, charged with flagrant nonsupport.
Ryan Booker, age 27 of Vine Grove, charged with flagrant nonsupport and persistent felony offender first degree.
