A winter storm is expected to bring snow to the Lake Cumberland area tonight into the early morning hours tomorrow.

WJRS News participated in a conference call with the National Weather Service in Louisville. Meteorologist John Gordon gave an idea of how much snowfall those in the Lake Cumberland area could expect.

Gordon also gave a preview of cold temperatures expected later in the week.
