The Russell Springs Police Department released its first monthly activity report for 2025.
In January, the police department responded to 425 calls for service and made 37 arrests.
Calls for service were up from 373 in January of 2024.
They made 5 total DUI arrests and 5 other drug-related arrests.
Officers performed 105 traffic stops and worked 18 traffic accidents.
The police department also answered 11 alarm calls in January.
