Russell Springs man arrested on assault, DUI charges

A Russell Springs man was arrested yesterday on multiple charges, including assault and driving under the influence.

The Russell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 31-year-old Keith Murrell yesterday. He’s charged with assault – third degree involving a police officer. He’s also charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence, resisting arrest, and terroristic threatening, among other charges.

Murrell was arrested by Deputy Nick Barber. He was lodged in the Russell County Detention Center at 7:15 yesterday evening.
