Russell County Cheer team preparing to compete at nationals this weekend

The Russell County Laker Cheer team will compete at the UCA national competition in Orlando this weekend.

Russell County Cheer Coach Teresa Ellis was on Community Conversations on WJRS yesterday to talk about the competition.

The team will compete in preliminaries and semifinals on Sunday, and if they advance, will compete in the finals on Monday.
