The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to a building fire Wednesday night on LaFavers Road near North Highway 127.
The building was a two-story building owned by Roger and Susie LaFavers located behind their residence.
A total of 10 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and worked for nearly three hours to contain the blaze. No injuries were reported from the fire, but the building was a total loss.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
