RCHS swimmers competing at state this weekend

16 Russell County swimmers will compete in the first round of state competition this weekend.

On the girls side: Blair Brumett, Marlei DeVore, Laila Hammond, Haylyn Pierce, Madeline Prater, Tenley Rixon, Alexa Stephens, and Raegann Stephens.

On the boys side: Daniel Blakey, Ethan Coe, Ethan Hart, Ben Jones, Jacob Phillips, Jack Ramsey, Jameson Webb, and Kendell Wilson.

The swim team is coached by Haven Hadley, Valerie Reynolds, and Josh Root.
