Local gas prices slightly higher than state average

Local gas prices are slightly higher than state average, according to AAA.

The average price of gas in Russell County comes in at $2.81, with the state average coming in at $2.79.

Russell County prices are mostly on par with Adair, Casey, and Cumberland counties.

However, prices are 7-8 cents higher in Pulaski, Wayne, and Clinton counties.
