The Russell County Fiscal Court will hold its regular monthly meeting on Monday.
The court is expected to hold a second reading and vote on the proposed dog ordinance that would implement a $20 fee per animal on animals surrendered to the county as well as those picked up by law enforcement or the dog warden.
The court also will hold a second reading and vote on the amended ordinance that would require those hauling garbage to have their vehicle covered when doing so.
The court will meet at 10 a.m. Monday. The meeting is open to the public.
