The Jamestown Fire Department was called to a fire at a home on Esto Road yesterday afternoon.
Jamestown Fire Chief Jeff Landers said fire crews were called out at around 3:30 yesterday after Landers noticed smoke coming from a home at 105 Esto Road occupied by John Thompson.
Fire crews were able to get inside the home and extinguish the fire inside the kitchen area of the home.
Landers told WJRS News the home suffered heat and smoke damage throughout.
12 firefighters responded to the scene and no injuries were reported.
