RCMS 7th graders win conference tournament

The Russell County Middle School 7th grade Laker Basketball team brought home the conference tournament championship over the weekend.

The 2-seed Lakers competed in the Central Kentucky Middle School Athletic Conference tournament, and defeated the top-seed Campbellsville in the championship game at Hart County on Saturday.

The 8th grade Lakers will play in their conference tournament this Saturday at Green County.
