The Lady Laker Basketball team finished as runner-up in the Gatlinburg Christmas tournament over the weekend.
The Lady Lakers opened things up with a 63-39 win over Grundy County, Tennessee on Thursday.
Rachel Bolin led the Lady Lakers with a 19 point, 13 rebound performance.
Aniyah Coffey added 11 points and 6 rebounds. Addison Hart and Karley Luttrell scored 9 points each.
The Lady Lakers defeated Perry County Central 51-40 in the second game.
Bolin led Russell County in that one as well, scoring 17 points and pulling down 7 rebounds.
Addison Hart added 9 points and Natalie Bartrug added 7 for the Lady Lakers.
The Lady Lakers fell to North Laurel in the championship game.
Aniyah Coffey led Russell County with 15 points. Addy Abrell scored 9 and Rachel Bolin added 7.
The Lady Lakers play Pleasure Ridge Park on Friday in the Giovanni’s Berea Holiday Classic.
