Kentucky State Police troopers located and recovered more than $16,000 worth of stolen jewelry in Clinton County last Friday, leading to two arrests.
State Police say the investigation began on Thursday after they were informed of more than $16,000 worth of custom jewelry was stolen from a home in Clinton County. The investigation led them to a home on Cave Springs Road in Clinton County, where they were able to recover several of the items that were reported stolen.
While there, troopers gathered information that led to the arrest of 41-year-old Virginia Conner and 42-year-old Christopher Conner, both of Albany. Virginia was charged with theft by unlawful taking – more than $10,000. Christopher was charged with receiving stolen property – more than $10,000 along with charges of disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
They were lodged in the Clinton County Jail.
