The Russell County High School Athletics Department received a major gift recently in the form of a $10,000 donation from the family of the late Larry Kinnett.
Kinnett served as the first Athletics Director at Russell County High School, and a memorial fund was set up following his passing for donations to the athletics department.
The funds will be used to purchase weight equipment that will benefit all athletic programs.
