There have been some positive discussions recently between county officials and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers regarding the planned project at Greasy Creek.
Judge Executive Randy Marcum provided an update on where things stand on the project.
The plan is to turn the area into a park with the ability to launch kayaks along with a handicap-accessible fishing pier.
