The Russell County Fiscal Court voted on Friday to give Judge-Executive Randy Marcum the authority to look into a lease agreement for The Inn, the residential building near Dairy Queen in Russell Springs.
During the meeting, it was stated the county has been paying the property insurance for The Inn, which amounts to roughly $16,000 per year. County officials said they have encountered issues of rooms not being available when needed.
More information could come as soon as next month’s court meeting.
