A Russell County grand jury handed up indictments against 8 individuals yesterday.
Those indicted included the following:
D’Nea G. Stephens, age 35 of Russell Springs, charged with driving under the influence 4th or more offense and being a persistent felony offender.
Judy Ann Walters, age 55 of Russell Springs, charged with burglary third degree, theft by unlawful taking under $1,000; possession of methamphetamine and being a persistent felony offender.
Shawna Tackett, age 31, charged with theft by unlawful taking $1,000 or more and criminal mischief 1st degree.
Jesus Chavez, age 31, of Somerset, charged with rape third degree and sodomy third degree.
Matthew Blevins and Stefanie Blevins, both age 28, charged with criminal mischief first degree.
Eugenio D. Huete Rojas, age 41 of Russell Springs, charged with unlawful imprisonment first degree, strangulation first degree, and rape first degree.
Corey A. Sheppard, age 24 of Russell Springs, charged with theft of an automobile and being a persistent felony offender.
