Laker Soccer wins big on Senior Night

Last night was Senior Night for the Laker Soccer team, as the Lakers picked up a big 6-2 win over the Allen County-Scottsville Patriots.

Taven Foley led the way for Russell County, scoring three goals and assisting on two others. Sebastian Betts-Jimenez, Xavi Medrano, and Giovanni Gomez each scored a goal as well. Olvin Vasquez finished with a pair of assists, and Evan Hutchison picked up an assist as well.

Goalkeeper Xavion Russell had 8 saves in the win.

The Lakers improve to 11-3-1 on the season with the victory. The Lakers are back in action on Thursday, going on the road to Glasgow.
