Two new deputies have joined the Russell County Sheriff’s Office.
Russell County Sheriff Derek Polston announced yesterday the addition of Devin Blakey and Stone Bolin to the sheriff’s office.
The two new deputies will train at the academy in Richmond in 2025. Until then, they will be riding along with other deputies observing and learning.
Blakey is a native of Russell County, and Bolin is a native of Adair County.
