The Russell County Board of Education gave the green light to start a youth wrestling program at yesterday’s special-called meeting, along with the purchase of a truck for the district’s maintenance department.
WJRS News caught up with Superintendent Michael Ford following the board meeting.
The 2019 GMC Sierra for the maintenance department comes at a cost of just under $25,000.
Scott Boreing will be the coordinator of the youth league wrestling program.
