The Russell Springs Volunteer Fire Department was called out yesterday afternoon to a report of hay bales on fire.
The hay bales were on a trailer near the intersection of East Highway 80 and Dowell Road when fire crews were called out.
Fire Chief Bobby Johnson said crews were able to quickly extinguish the fire and no injuries were reported.
