Last month saw a significant amount of rain in Russell County.
The Russell County Mesonet site recorded 10.6 inches of rain in Russell County last month with five days of recording at least half-an-inch of rain.
This past May was also much different than last May. The local mesonet site recorded just 1.4 inches of rain in May 2023.
