The Laker Baseball team will play in the opening round of the Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky state tournament tomorrow morning.
The Lakers, champions of the 4th Region, will take on 8th Region champion Simon Kenton tomorrow morning at 9 a.m. CT at Legends Field in Lexington.
The winner of tomorrow’s game will advance to the quarterfinals on Saturday, where they will take on either Trinity or Pikeville.

The Laker Baseball team will also be having a send-off today beginning at 1 p.m. The team will receive an escort from the high school to the Jamestown Square and then back up North 127 through Russell Springs.
The community is invited to line up on the side of the road to cheer for the team as they pass.
