Kevin Williams was in Russell County yesterday, presenting checks from the 10th annual Kevin’s Kids concert, which raised more than $105,000 for local youth.
This year’s event raised $105,314 for the Russell County Schools Family Resource and Youth Services Centers. The money is divided amongst the schools based on student enrollment.
Russell County High School, which has the most students, received around $29,500.
Russell County Middle School received around $22,500.
Russell Springs Elementary received around $22,100.
Jamestown Elementary received around $17,100.
Salem Elementary received around $14,100.
