The Russell County Fiscal Court accepted a bid yesterday for new computer equipment.
The new equipment is part of the grant received by the county from the Department of Homeland Security to make needed cybersecurity upgrades.
Judge Executive Randy Marcum spoke to WJRS News more about the grant and the upgrades.
The bid for the equipment came in at just over $23,000.
