A Russell Springs woman was arrested in Columbia on drug charges after police say she was staying in a basement apartment without the owner’s consent.
According to Columbia Police, 53-year-old Patricia Kerr was taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine.
Columbia Police say officers were called out to College Park inside the city limits Sunday night to a call that a woman, identified as Kerr, was inside a basement apartment that she was not supposed to be in.
Once there, officers found the methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, and took Kerr into custody.
She was lodged in the Adair County Regional Jail.
