The City of Russell Springs is now taking orders for the veteran banners that are displayed on Main Street each year.
Brian “Hooty” Stephens operates the program for the city, and told members of the city council last week that orders can now be placed for the banners, which are displayed from May – November each year.
Banners can be purchased at a cost of $150 for a four-year period.
Stephens said the city currently has around 127 banners.
Stephens told the council orders need to be placed by April and anyone with questions can call City Hall at 270-866-3981.
