Russell County Schools was selected for a workforce readiness mini grant.
The Kentucky Advising Academy recently awarded mini grants reimbursable up to $5,000 to 17 Kentucky schools, with Russell County High School being selected.
According to Russell County High School College and Career Readiness counselor Robin Rixon, eighth grade students at Russell County Middle School will have the opportunity to explore career options and network with community members and business leaders through this grant.
