The Russell County Middle School 8th grade basketball team fell in the semifinals of the conference tournament over the weekend.
The Lakers started the tournament with a win over Hart County in the first round by a score of 54-9.
The Lakers advanced to the semifinals with the win, where they fell to the Campbellsville Eagles by a score of 51-28.
