Kenton Wayne Hopper, of Russell Springs, passed from this life Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, in Somerset. He was 80 years of age.
Kenton was born August 18, 1943, in Russell County, son of the late Hubert and Gladys Kimble Hopper. He was a retired social worker and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Porter Hopper; and his sister, Betsy Carol Sharp, of Campbellsville.
Along with his parents, Kenton is preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean Hemby.
Inurnment will be in Fairview Memorial Cemetery. A memorial service celebrating the life of Kenton Wayne Hopper may be held at a later date.
