A Somerset man was arrested after he reportedly pointed a gun at law enforcement officers.

According to a report from the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office, 38-year-old Matthew Anderson is facing four counts of wanton endangerment of a police officer after he pointed a handgun at them.

The sheriff’s office responded to a domestic call just before 10 p.m. on December 30 on Rose Road in which the victim told dispatchers that Anderson had pointed a handgun with a green laser at them and fired shots in their direction.

According to reports, when arriving on the scene, as deputies approached the residence, they said they noticed a green laser pointed and placed on several of them.

Deputies were eventually able to approach Anderson from behind and place him in custody. He was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center.
