The Russell County Public Library is going fine-free.

WJRS News caught up with Library Director Lindsey Westerfield about the move and why the library decided to go fine-free.

Russell County Public Library is the 66th library in Kentucky to go fine-free and Westerfield said on average, late fees make up less than one-quarter of one percent of the library’s annual revenue.
