Lakers host Adair in 2A Tournament matchup tonight

The Russell County Laker Basketball team will host Adair County in a Kentucky 2A, Section 4 tournament matchup at Laker Gym tonight.

Tip-off for tonight’s game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.

The Indians enter as one of the frontrunners in the 5th Region with 11-1 overall record and are coming off a dominant 91-35 win over Marion County in a 2A sectional matchup earlier this week. Adair County is ranked as a top 25 team in the state.

The Lakers enter at 8-5 and are coming off a 69-60 road win over district rival Monroe County.

We’ll have live coverage of tonight’s game right here on Laker Country 104.9 beginning with pregame at about 5:10 this evening.
