KSP investigating Wayne County shooting

Kentucky State Police is investigating a fatal officer-involved shooting in neighboring Wayne County that took place over the weekend.

According to reports, the shooting occurred at around 10 Friday night on Tuggle Hollow Road off Highway 200.

The name of the victim has not yet been released, but reports are that the victim was a 45-year-old man. He was pronounced deceased by the Wayne County Coroner’s Office after reportedly being shot by Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies.

State police is continuing the investigation.
