Helm appointed to KY Lottery Board

A local attorney has been appointed to the state’s board overseeing the Kentucky Lottery.

Jamestown attorney Derrick Helm was recently appointed to the Kentucky Lottery Corporation Board of Directors.

Helm is replacing Mark Sommer of Louisville, and his term will run until November 28, 2027.

The Kentucky Lottery was the first lottery in the United States to be implemented as a corporation back in 1989.
